The fact that the "treatment" has to be taken for a long period of time and is ineffective might actually help it spread through social networks vs highly effective one-time vaccines.

Horsey sauce is for loving animals and I suspect the actual instances where you'd need it in humans are so rare it'd have to be custom ordered by the pharmacy.
