I remember an old family friend from Lebanon that made this beef dish & when I asked what was in it, hearing cinnamon was in it stuck in my head. Oh man, assuming it's pretty much the same (it looks about right, and sounds like the same ingredients), I love making homemade skyline chili, though I've always called it Cincinnati Chili. It's so loving good. Trader Joe's has some, but I've found equivalents in other grocery stores, but this stuff is really good, even if you're not a vegetarian. I like to fry some and scramble a couple eggs in to make chorizo breakfast burritos/tacos.
