Taking my 2 year old on her first backpacking trip today :toot:

very excite

We camp and hike with her a lot but have not done full on backpacking yet (we did a lot before kid) and now we are. Just a chill 5 mile loop through some alpine meadows without much elevation gain so it should be a good place to start.

Yeah she is used to hiking when we camp, just not hiking into camp. So this is more of an exercise for us parents, having to condense backpacking gear and toddler stuff and toddler, strapping tons of stuff to the outside of the kid carrier backpack, etc

That sounds super fun! As someone without a kid, I'm always a little in awe of parents who can do this kind of stuff since from the outside, wrangling a toddler just for a trip to the store seems like a whole ordeal. Heck, just getting myself together enough for a hike is an ordeal. I hope you guys have an awesome time!

Went thru a BK once for the cheap chicken nuggs and I told the girl in the window "Just toss whatever in" because I'm not too picky with sauce. She got a second bag and gave me 5-10 of every sauce BK has. Still confused.

Taco Bell is always one of those places that have just thrown two fists full of hot sauce into a bag, they must have giant boxes laying around they need to get rid of *shrug*
