Isolation is still required if your kid was in contact with a positive case IF your family is unvaccinated. That's all of the even marginally good stuff, everything else still sucks or is worse from last year. Sports are back and can break cohorting. Recess can break cohorting now (kids from different cohorts are supposed to stay 6 ft apart from each other but lol good luck). I think even assemblies are allowed? (fortunately my school board isn't allowing them).

Unless you're out there organizing for progressive change, I'm not sure you get to complain about the lack of electoral choices without sounding like a spoiled baby sorry. The reason Canadians aren't sweeping a progressive party into power isn't because their revolutionary consciousness is being ignored or repressed, it's because that organized voting block doesn't exist. And you don't get there by complaining about lovely options, you get there through tedious street level organizing work. So vote, and then get to work.

Look I'm just being honest here, nobody in this thread is any different from me unless they're out taking direct action, and I'm pretty sure they're not. Electoralism is nothing but a distraction for people to tell themselves that they're helping, even though it accomplishes literally nothing and never has for as long as I've been alive. The only difference between me and anyone else on this thread is that I'm honest about not being willing to risk my life for something that probably won't accomplish anything anyways lol
