I have no experience with Airdropping as I've never owned an iPhone/iPad/etc, but it sounds like an absolute nightmare. Sorry to bring up drag queens again (  ), but there was allegedly a queen who was dropped from a recent season of RPDR because it was discovered she has a nightclub act where she goes through an audience member's phone and then Airdrops their nudes to everyone in the club. This is all like, third-hand info, and for all I know the audience member(s) are plants, but hey. Has there ever been an example of Airdropping doing something positive, other than just "Idk, I can share work documents with my coworkers"?

There's a scam kickstarter for an SCP board game and the comments section is lovely because it's the creator having conversations with 3 or 4 of their alt accounts and sometimes forgetting to log into the right account before replying. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2053940446/scp-foundation-the-boardgame-confidential-crisis/comments   Also it has some good old fashioned idiocy with someone arguing it's okay to give the scammer money just in case it isn't a scam.
