I think I’ve seen this before and every time I laugh at the fledgling being all,” get in my mouth!” Over and over again. https://youtube.com/shorts/2a0rt4ZIRD4?feature=share

Met these fellas in my work parking lot. I gave them one of my hard boiled eggs from my breakfast. They will soon be my friends.

I just randomly found out this exists nearby. We're going to check it out soon and then maybe see about volunteering there. Playing the long game to sell my wife on letting me have birbs again

This rating system is bullshit. Oh, yeah, this bird right here is great. 5 stars, for sure. But there are 2 just out of sight that we don't have that could potentially be better. So on those grounds, we are deducting points. Absolute clown time here in the bird thread.

Brid, bridd, and bryd are all valid forms of the word bird in Old English.

https://i.imgur.com/77FcSII.mp4quote:Cormorants in the St Petersburg, Florida area have come up with a new fish hunting technique. It's simple, but smart. They follow kayakers & paddle boarders around and repeatedly swim back and forth under them. It's very common for as many as 4 to 6 cormorants to follow the same kayak. The cormorants are catching fish that are startled out of their hiding places by the shadow of the kayak. The major increase in the popularity of paddle sports like kayaking and paddle boarding in the last decade has caused the development of this technique.

The ospreys around here know to look for fishing rods and will follow boats around the lake hoping for a dazed and easy-to-catch fish thrown back in the water. Glad to see other birds will take advantage of us.
