I seem to remember some flash animation series about a hamster that would talk poo poo at you while you clicked different buttons to retaliate. One was in a microwave, the other was in an office setting and I can't quite remember what the third one was. It was the height of immature fart and violence jokes at the time though. My mom, a medical librarian, taught me about the internet when we first got it at our house. I was in elementary school. Hampster Dance (Gotta remember there’s a “p” there  ) was one of the things she showed me. I mostly used my dailup internet time, which of course I had to ask permission for, to look up Animorphs stuff.Other “memes” or work email forwards or whatever she showed me later were Combo No. 5 (Maybe don’t play at work for the Mickey Rooney-esque Chinese chefs) and Elf Bowling.

I found the forums because I ran out of things to watch on weeblsstuff.com and ended up on the about me page. The guy listed SA as one of his favourite sites so I checked it out and thought it was just the front page for months. I must have been about 12 when I started lurking, I try not to think about the considerable damage exposure to the forums at such an age must have done

In like 2001 I remember there was this site called "jamming a pair of scissors repeatedly into your crotch." It was just a page describing how nice it is to jam scissors into your crotch, but not as a euphamism for masturbating. Kinda the same lines as Bonsai Kittens, like written seriously but it was an obvious joke. Also when you opened the page, it automatically played a little clip of Bob Marley's "Jammin."
