I thought they were both outside guys TBH, so he was a pro at singing the hook as far as I’m concerned. I know it’s all at some level about crassly creating a parasocial relationship but the backstage stuff, the vlogs, getting into the whole AEW extended universe of characters is what’s really next generation about this company. Somehow being a reckless botch machine became part of the gimmick, which is kind of amazing as far as booking goes. He was willing to put his body through anything to gently caress you up.

All the while his opponent is lying there pretending to be so knocked out Sabu can botch his spot for five minutes. I was never a Sabu fan.
