You’ve got a vampire guy, who looks like a teenager, but is really a 110+ year old man, who obsessively pursues a 16 year old girl until he marries her and knocks her up. My girlfriend, who was a huge fan of the novels, always gets super pissed when I bring this up.

I think the issue is the wording "no violence of any kind, toward anyone." suggests the writer knows and acknowledges that the concept of 'violence' is not limited to physical-force... but that they do not consider that "rape without violence" itself is also a kind of violence
