the 9/11 of computers was....just 9/11 i worked a shift at the dialup isp that day. it was loving crazy, everything fell over and all the perl driven paleolithic CMS's the news sites used died and they went to static pages. this illuminated the need for CDNs, one of which i work at today. thanks 9/11!
