Ye, I just want to help the town be happy with my megabux Clint's not in a romanceable spot because he's fat, let's face it. So maybe I could fund and build a local gym for Alex and Caroline to run, push Clint, Shane, Harvey and maybe Kent into joining, then once they're all buff send them on an all-expenses-paid trip to whatever the local equivalent of Tijuana is.

Even if Clint was jacked as hell he'd still be alone. Dude has less than zero self confidence and is incredibly incredibly boring.

I didn't consider Sandy at all. She's ok I guess. Robin is really the best one there and I can't stand Dimitri for not realizing it. Clint could be alright if he was redeemable somehow, like Shane, but the guy's just a jerk. Space Cadet Omoly posted:I want a way to move Sandy out of the desert. I don't care if it's by marrying her or building her a house, she's clearly not happy out there. I know he probably won't want to do a Stardew Valley 2, but my goodness please. I don't know what you could to perfect it, but I guess just make more.

Would absolutely love to be able to marry Robin, although I figure there would have to be all sorts of knock-on consequences with the rest of the family depending on the exact storyline.

If they add Pam as a romance candidate can we cause absurd amounts of drama by cheating on Penny with her? Also Wizard, and Krobus should be added as dateable first. Don't give me this "Roommates" nonsense.

The Dwarf Strength Game guy Willy The Witch Blue bird Trader creature from the mysterious object Woody from Toy Story (he works for Jojo in the opening scene) Previous farmers on this install Slingshot game lady Jojo/cinema checker The townie who tries to rub elbows with the governor (she's also at the fair and in the opening jojo scene iirc) The governor Good versions of various mine/cavern monsters

Apparently when you have Robin move your silo, you lose all your hay. And now Marnie is just not available to sell hay for a couple days and it's the winter.

Rupert Buttermilk posted:I appreciate the advice and will definitely do that, but I also wanna see some farms! Took a while, because it was raining all the blasted time. Fall, Year 13. Automate mod is used somewhat extensively in the way the farm works. The deluxe coops are filled with Dinosaurs, Gold Chickens, Rabbits, and Void Chickens. One Shed is meticulouly managed chest storage, the other is half preserves jars, half kegs. Future plans: Cut down the mushroom tree farm to provide more room for a deluxe barn stocked with Ostriches. Move the bee houses elsewhere; I've got more than enough in my paved-up quarry. Possibly a Junimo Tea Bush farm up there. Get a few more silos; with most of my animals being trapped indoors all the time, I really need to stock up on more storage. I plan to build at least one more Deluxe Coop (so the southernmost one can be given over entirely to the ducks), and one more Deluxe Barn (to stock with ostriches) Bonus, Island Farm: I've been using it to generate Gold- and Iridium-Quality produce for Gifting during my course of marrying, divorcing, and re-friending all the marriage targets.

I forget who it was, but somebody in here awhile back was wondering how many of each ingredient you need to have on hand in order to get the"cook everything" achievement. Well, the Stardew wiki has a list! It's under the cooking section. I might give it a shot myself. I largely ignore the cooking aside from pumping out Sashimi to hand out and Triple Shot Espresso to keep myself on a constant caffeine bender. Having a list like that would at least tell me what I need to stockpile, and with the mini fridges I can actually hold it all! I've never tried for 100% "Perfection" either.

The only good thing about CA possibly being done with this game, other than it allows him to move on, is that I can then finally buy a proper, always up-to-date SV book. Whenever it's released, of course.

Does the Switch version have online multiplayer? Might be time to get it for me and my nieces and join a farm of theirs. If so, can two or three of them be playing together locally with the ability for me to join up remotely to form a group of three or four?

The Switch version is either 2 player max split screen with no online (I think) or one player with 3 others online. If this game was cross-platform, that would be amazing.

# ? Sep 14, 2021 01:20 |

Yeah as far as I can tell you can’t mix split screen with online.

One with three could work as they have an aunt who would likely be willing to jump in too! If they started a co-op farm for themselves, would it be eligible for online multiplayer too (so long as they only had one person local at the time)? In any case I have no issue gifting them a $15 game that will 100% consume their lives whether or not I can jump in with them.

Switch local multiplayer can't become switch online multiplayer and vice versa. Any multiplayer game can add more people to the farm (up to 4 total players). I don't think two people playing on the same switch (split-screen) can do online multiplayer.

Maru should be building weird things and robots every few weeks, Haley giving you big fancy photographs she printed up, Emily more things similar to her 14 heart event, Abigail gifting lots of unique mine loot, Alex with sports trophies and memorabilia for the walls, Shane fancy eggs or craft brews (or just stolen pizzas to hang on the wall), Elliot with giant prints of book covers of books he writes, Sam with big album covers and band tour posters for the walls, and I don't know enough about the rest to have ideas.

It's funny how one-sided relationships are in this genre of game. Like, "oh, the farmer brings me tens of thousands of dollars worth of diamonds and cooks my favorite meal for me every day. Next time I see them, I should tell them the weather is nice, or that I saw a cool bug!"

The player has the opportunity to see Kel, Leah's ex, twice. Kel is set up to be the same gender as the player. If the player uses the Shrine of Illusion to switch genders between Leah's 8-heart Art show and the 12-heart event, does Kel switch too?
