ZSNES had a really good one of these that you could choose the level of. I remember having trouble with certain platformers without it, and I think it's because certain things accounted for the CRT blur in hitboxes.

Keep in mind with that account, it's hardly definitive and something the owner does for fun. The differences can change from television to television, console revisions, version of the game, etc. I did the same Dracula comparison myself after that tweet between my Sony PVM and modern 4K LCD, using the same PS1 dual outputting between RGB and HDMI.  The eye pixels don't bleed as much on my PVM, but that's sorta expected since RGB is a sharper image than composite, and they made the game knowing that the vast majority of players would be using composite.
