It's the comedy group Big Grande in-character from their podcast Teacher's Lounge. The show is a long-form narrative improv comedy series where every hour-long episode builds off the story and jokes that have come before. They recently left their old network and started a new miniseries independently, for $15 you can get access to both the new weekly episodes and every episode of the backlog (20-some episodes now, and over a hundred more to come as the rights revert back to them): https://biggrandewebsite.com/

Chocopro has been such a delight to discover in my post-All Out frenzied return to pro wrestling fandom. I love a promotion that puts supremely skilled technical workers and extremely genki new talent on the same level, with the goal of letting the seasoned talents actually teach the greenhorns how to perform rather than simply bullying them.

(Rampage one week should just run the Brookes/Pencil ironman match in its entirety and flash "THIS IS JOSHI SPIRIT" on-screen for last 3 minutes. It floored me, even without the gradual build of the story.)

They could be saving it for when Kenny drops the belt. Callis getting his comeuppance on top of the title change would be incredibly cathartic.

I don't think it would hit the same (no pun intended) if he was getting knocked around here and there.

I'll gladly give the cliff notes, Nakajima is one of my favourite wrestlers right now.

Well first off, until earlier this year he had beautiful curly hair but sadly lost a hair vs hair steel cage match back in June. He's currently part of the Kongoh stable led by B Block's Kenoh and has unleashed his inner cocky dickhead after turning on his best friend (and heavyweight champion) Go Shiozaki late last year. He has spent the last decade as a NOAH regular after coming from Kensuke office, although also did the G1 Climax for New Japan in 2016 during a relationship between the two companies, finishing with a more than respectable 10 points. Nakajima won last year's N-1 tournament after turning on Go, even defeating Kenoh during the course of it, but was unable to win the championship he destroyed a friendship for. His current theme music was either written for him or was inspired by him, but either way it's cool

Also, he kicks really loving hard, he has some of the nicest sounding kicks in wrestling to my ears. This is something he shares with Kenoh, whenever they team up and just kick guys back and forth I can't stop beaming

e: added in a link to 20 seconds after that first kick where he just football kicks Kiyomiya right in the loving head because he's a lunatic

here come the planes
if i've learned anything from the internet it's that the way to prove that it does look like a renaissance painting is to draw a golden spiral over the top, and i haven't seen anyone do that yet so there's no way to be sure

Art history paperwork holder here. Agree.

Tho I would have said it’s a bit more Baroque (Caravaggio would absolutely have been a pro wrestling fan), but I don’t think anyone is going viral by being that specific. People are gonna pop for “Renaissance” because they read it as “it looks like fine art hung in a frame in a museum.”

Sorry, I meant I would like to order a Crunchwrap and diet Baja Blast. Thanks.
