Hopefully they have the Heavy Metal Queen episode so you at least get the diner egg scene.

Also hopefully they don't replace Ed's lightening of the mood with the Marvel style character looks at the CGI and goes "well that just happened".

Well my friends, at 36 years old I’m losing a decent amount of hair on the crown of my head. Getting pretty thin back there.

It’s time to start getting haircuts again (first since February 2020) so I can age gracefully. Not trying to rock a skullet.

Played in a beer hockey league with a guy who had the most glorious skullet. Dude had a mane, you'd think he had a head of hair like Fabio while he was wearing a helmet.

He finally donated his hair to one of those kids wig things during a charity drive. After doing this his wife was like, no, you don't get to try to grow that back out.

lol that’s awesome

The pandemic was the perfect time to grow one’s hair out. I had a lot of fun with it and I would keep it if I wasn’t thinning so much, but oh well!

I even did the “hmm what sort of hair treatments are out there?” for a minute last night. There is like a 2% chance your penis stops working and you have to keep taking the stuff forever so nah.

Everyone probably has something like this, right?

For me it’s just overall physical shape. I’ll be the guy lifting at 73 years old. It just makes me feel happy and better about myself.

Such a sick show. Really really stupid metal is so much fun live. The pit was nuts, but upstairs wasn't crowded at all and despite proof of vaccination + masks (loosely enforced, but >90% of people had them on sans drinking I'd estimate) I'm still leery about crowds so avoided it.

Today so far has been gym, outdoor record pop-up with the dog and a buddy, grabbing beers after, now cleaning. Hope everyone is having a similarly good weekend so far!

If I lose my hair I will probably take lots of things to either grow it back / prevent it from falling out. My dad's side has hair loss but my mom's doesn't, and my hair looks more like I get it from my mom's too, so here's hoping!

That’s a great Saturday!

I did some cleaning, then spent most of the day with my baby while my wife did some projects around the house. The baby is so much fun these days :3:

My father's side of the family is a nightmare but apparently the balding gene is in the X chromosome? If my brother is any indication I should be alright until about 50.

But I noticed poo poo is starting to run away up front for me today. I turn 36 in February so poo poo could be way worse.

Yeah apparently its like your maternal grandfather or something? I think that might be an old wives tale though because a friend of mine is bald and he lost his the same age as his old man, and my maternal grandfather was bald but my brother has a full on thick head of hair and mine hasn't changed much at all either.

I got my bald friend to be my bald sponsor. I told him if I ever look like a dude who's lost the battle and doesn't know it he has to stage the intervention and tell me to shave it. It's a sacred bond.

My hairline started receding when I was like 20, and I made the call right then and there I'd never be the dude clinging to way-too-thin hair, getting plugs, etc.

Took it down to almost nothing with some trimmers like ten years ago and I've never looked back. Life's just better.

I really enjoyed it even though I thought the final season had a bit too much filler.

What We Do in the Shadows is probably my favorite show that's on right now. With all emergency family stuff going on I haven't been able to catch up on the new episodes but I'll probably binge it this week. Or I'll just rewatch Rome for the 5th time. Or True Blood since it's trashy as hell.

Grandma's been improving a bit. She sounds way better today than earlier this week and they've got her sitting in a chair so we figure that's a good sign. Grandpa and I toured some assisted living facilities today since they'll need some help and I don't think they're super comfortable with in-home caregiving. There's also a bit of drama but taking care of all the other needs for both them leaves me with little energy to social work my own family drama. Watching the Husky game now with grandpa and it's fun but I definitely miss her commentary.

There’s an episode this season where they go to a casino and it’s up there as one of the top episodes of the series for me. The consistency with which they knock it out of the park is really impressive to me.

I'll admit to being a little hype for it. For me it's really going to come down to how the live action does all the character interaction since that's one of the big things I really, really loved about the original.
