If Lynch's final work is season 3 of twin peaks, then that is a fantastic way to cap a career. I would love to see more, but it is going to be tough to top 17 hours of floor sweeping goodness.

It’s insane when you really consider that S3 is 17 hours of well, uh, THAT and not only keeps the quality going for the entire run but gets better every episode right up to the perfect finale.
