Infrared's broader point is correct - just because you claim to be anti-imperialist doesn't mean that your actions or stances can't inadvertently support imperialism - but he seems to have a very strange way of expressing it. Plus he claims that the anti-war movement would have ended Vietnam sooner if it had engaged with the pro-American working class, which isn't how things work in a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. I turned the video off at about fifteen minutes. Does he start making better arguments after that? I'm not sure I want to listen to a couple of dudes arguing for over an hour if that's the quality of the arguments that I'll be subjected to.

i find infrared's produced content, and even haz's friendly discussions with other marxists to be at least interesting, but all the debate stuff immediately turns into arguments about rhetoric that serve more to rally/decry existing tribes of online left-wing weirdos then anything meaningful

I think you could do a great remake of Cannonball Run where all the various left sects and parties all get told where this secret forgotten stash is and have a frantic rush cross country to claim Stalins gold. I dont know what the finale would be, perhaps they have to break into some irrelevant government office and then get stuck there, or perhaps the gold is thousands of copies of the works of Stalin or something. vvv So it is.
