How does japan have so many animals that have human faces?! okay this is only the second I can think off of the top of my head. The first being the toad I saw wandering around a rock garden by the dormitory when I was there one summer. God that was weird as gently caress. But that crab does clearly have an angry human face. Edit: holy crab! This family of hermit crabs are known for carrying anemones or zoanthids (little polyp animals with tentacles that are common in coral reefs) on their back instead of shells. Sometimes they will cultivate entire colonies of polyps or their own little anemone garden. This little guy has an anemone on his back, but it's closed so not as obvious.
