   I noticed it in the first picture, and then I remembered another instance so brought up the second. In the first pic. The insanity and absurdity of that whole event is huge. But what struck me is: what business does Melania have being so prominently shown? Fair enough she is the wife of one of a major world leader, but I thought the point was to have the leaders of countries touch the magic orb. Not their 3rd wives. Then I was reminded of the time Trump brought Ivanka to the G20, and had her pretend like she was as important as everybody else. So there she was talking to the people like PM of Japan about international policy like she knew what the gently caress she was talking about. The third picture is particularly galling to me. Imagine you are either Lagarde or Merkel. Accomplished women with multiple masters degrees each, both highly accomplished and respected leaders of major countries and organizations, being lectured on international policy, and having your words carry equal weight as a handbag designer that is only there because her steak salesman father managed to sneak her in. An unrelated Melania Trump lol is that she got her US Citizenship though a "genius grant" style thing where only the best and brightest in their field get accepted. At the time she got this, she had maybe a handful of modelling gigs, including the ones she did and illegally got paid for whilst she was on a visitors visa to the US. Whilst I have in the past struggled with whether it was sexist, or unfair to be hating on Melania. She is, whilst perhaps not the monster her husband is, at the very least a fuckwit deserving of scorn and ridicule.

One of the best culinary experiences ever. Knowing that and looking at this picture is doubly insulting. It's slap in the face of the high standards of the White House staff and a reminder of the willfully lowered standards of this orange doofus.
