Another forgotten football broadcasting classic from around that time was the ESPN News anchor who made a Trail of Tears joke about the Oklahoma Sooners after they lost a close game against Texas (or Texas A&M or Texas Tech, can't remember which).

She was on the morning show for KNBR in the San Francisco Bay Area as the ancillary person when I moved there back in 2010. The Niners also had her do some radio play-by-play. She has a fantastic radio voice. I'm very happy for her

First ep of Debatable is up w/ Pablo, Domonique, and Elle Duncan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0QQwDWour4. It could be a little bit tighter but it does show some promise for filling the HQ-sized hole left in ESPN's programming. It was pleasant enough to have in the background. Little bummed that it appears Bo won't be a part of it.

I don't want to fantasy-book somebody's real life, but I really enjoy The Right Time and hope he still has a passion and desire to do something like that if he does leave. my guess is he'd join the Meadowlark Pirate Ship less as an accessory for the LeBatard Show, but to reboot The Right Time outside of ESPN alongside the HBO show, but probably also focusing on the storytelling angle that Meadowlark has also suggested is a real major point. I've been a fan/follower of Bo since he was bringing the big gold belt to Around the Horn, he's so good at doing what he does I hope he wants to continue it.

Wow, ESPN should just go back to Lumberjack Games or the Aussie Rules Football League or Cliff Diving from some remote place. It worked for Wide World Of Sports for over 2 decades. I remember ESPN in its' early incarnation. It's not too much to return afternoon weekdays to that as opposed to stuffy talking heads saying things. Things no one is really hitching any star to. Or gives a gently caress about.
