https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p48mCEaGmL4 yeah ESPN had the rights to AFL for a second in the 2000s and they just put like four games on ESPN3 (remember that old web service?) each week, not even bothering to put them on broadcast ESPN2/ESPNNews. FS2 has that package for the U.S. now. you can't build up that same inventory now because there are  like me who can just go subscribe to the AFL's overseas package for like $120 for every single game. In this regard, who needs ESPN2 when you can get everything live and on demand? ESPN2 broadcasting things not live is a kind of middle class that's now completely gone. ESPN2 has enough other Real Sports to put on there in heavier times, and for the other leagues or sports or events, it makes a lot more sense just to cut the middle man and put their broadcast onto YouTube (there's a bunch of motorsports that has done this, either for all coverage or international coverage).

I tried watching it and literally every 30 seconds is a Gen Xer pop culture reference that is then tediously explained. Good guy: "So you think you're going to get out of here like Andy Dufresne?" Bad guy: "I sure do, but the only difference is instead of slowly chipping though my cell wall with a spoon like in the film Shawshank Redemption, I'm going to be heading out the front door."

To the best of my knowledge she actually did get the shot, but was really outspoken about the ESPN/Disney mandate, basically the whole 'slippery slope' thing you hear over and over. I could be wrong on that though. E: and what Henchman said
