I cannot imagine someone subjecting their kids to "politix". My kids, even my teens, are just vaguely aware of what's going on nationally. Kids are supposed to be worried about poo poo like getting their bike fixed and whatever toy they might get for Christmas. Not "literally shaking and crying" because mommy told them that Trump/Biden is going to put them in a camp. My kids are also extremely worried about whether dad is going to cook ricearoni or make sandwiches for dinner. It's the topic of the hour.

If there's a protest going on we'll go during the daytime and listen to the speakers, or if it's a smaller protest let my kids ask questions.
