It does have the term "final solution" in it, and "Taiwan question" is mentioned *nine times* in total within the copy, though. The rhetoric is inflammatory enough without conjuring Nazis. This is not just a warning, but also a serious promise from the Communist Party of China (CPC) to the Chinese nation." The meaning is clear, they just wanted to make it explicit in the tweet I guess.

It's far from a sure thing that Taiwan could hold off an invasion even with ample US support and it's hard to say how Xi weighs the potential economic fallout against the strategic/revanchist value of absorbing the island. Or, for that matter, whether he thinks the counterbalancing starting to take place in the states on China's periphery might in the future eliminate the option of invasion entirely. Really hoping neither Russia nor China get up to any overt shenanigans during the midterms or presidential election...
