NAOH Grand Square in Osaka October 10th
MOTYC
Naomichi Marufuji (c) vs Katsuhiko Nakajima - GHC Heavyweight Championship
- A week ago Katsu got the absolute poo poo beaten out of him to win the N-1. Now he has to challenge one of the modern greats, who preceeds to beat the poo poo out of him. Both these guys are great strikers, and although the strike battles were more theatrical than the sheer brutality of Kenoh/Katsu last week it was no less horrifying

HM
Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa and Seiki Yoshioka) vs Perros del Mal de Japon (YO-HEY and Kotaro Suzuki)
- I really love Seiki Yoshioka, his kicks consistently sound so amazing. Especially when said kick is meeting Yo-Hey's face at mach speed. Short but instense

Kaito Kiyomiya and Kenoh vs Kazushi Sakuraba and Keiji Mutoh
- This was a real fun match after the junior division decided to revert back to their usual bullshit. Sakuraba is an absolute treasure, man's got great comedy instincts

Finally got around to watching it last night and nth to all of those.

DDT Get Alive October 12th
MOTYC
37KAMIINA (Konosuke Takeshita and Shunma Katsumata) (c) vs DisasterBox (HARASHIMA and Naomi Yoshimura) - KO-D Tag Team Championships
- All four of these guys are amazing, and with the exception of Harashima are all younger than 30 so they've got quite a bit ahead of them still. If you've seen a 37KAMIINA tag match then you know what to expect here, I love the high octane action they bring. Takeshita is still my pick for wrestler of the year, kid can always be counted on to go hard no matter the occasion. I also appreciate that DDT rarely feel the need do long main events for the hell of it, this match went barely 20 minutes and didn't feel like it was missing anything. Not the best match of this reign (which I think is the match they won the belts) but still well worth making time to watch

HM
Kazusada Higuchi vs Yuki Ishida
- DDT do some real good debuts, Ishida showed some real sparks of greatness and didn't look nearly as nervous in the ring as Koroku did back in April, big fan of the Sumo inspired attack. Higuchi gave the kid a ton.

Team Olympian (Yoshiaki Yatsu, Keigo Nakamura, Hiroshi Yamato and Akito)(c) vs Junretsu (Jun Akiyama, Mizuku Watase, Hideki Okatani and Yusuke Okada) - KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Championships
- Some real good action here that moved at a fast pace, with the added wrinkle that Junretsu declared they would dissolve if they failed to win this match. Highlight for me was Yatsu hitting Kamigoye with his prosthetic leg, but even resident weak links Nakamura and Okatani were solid here.

Yuji Hino and 37KAMIINA (MAO and Yuki Ueno) vs Chris Brookes, Kazusada Higuchi and Tetsuya Endo
- This was loving sweet, all 6 guys went full throttle for this D-Oh preview, if this had gone another 5 I would have nominated it for MOTYC. Hino remains the best, we got a reprise of his hoss battle with Higuchi from King of DDT and the first post-Damnation showdown between he and Endo. And the post-match was hilarious. Seek this out, it only ran a bit over 15 minutes but everyone got to shine.
