Well you know what they say. Love doesn't discriminate between the sinners and the saints.

Arsenic Lupin posted:Yip! All based on the Leslie Charteris series of short stories and novels. The radio shows are available online if people want to listen. I like the Moore take a little more but the Price version is nice. The old radio shows can make for great background noise. And there are some newer versions like Thrilling Adventure Hour that are pretty great.

Honestly, Vincent Price was one of those people you secretly suspect of being an angel.

The Bible is a significantly reigned in version of the Old Testament and has some pretty okay messages in it. No one actually reads it or pays attention to anything it says though in favor of making up whatever they want and confidently assuming that no one else has read it either, which is true.

Push El Burrito posted:Orlando Bloom is loving My Wife In The Past I mean, based on the trailer that would be true even without the time travel, Orlando Bloom was her first husband. I would think it hilariously irresponsible for a private company or whatever to let people travel back in time in a way that let's them change the past, but the last few years have told me "nah, they'll loving do it anyways."

Their mistake is keeping the same characters throughout the film. As everyone keeps going back to change the past, the film cycles through increasingly bizarre relationship permutations of the original characters, then they start being replaced by look-alikes or completely new people until the viewer completely loses track of where the film is going or what its trying to say and ends up being a long form commercial for lawnmowers or a sandwich.

This, but that all plays out in the first fifteen minutes at which point all the main characters die in a plane crash and the rest of the movie is a character drama about the first responders.

And at the end none of them can live with the traumatic memories anymore and they all go back to stop the plane crash and in the future they're all married to Orlando Bloom

The History of Time Travel is done documentary style and does this really well.

i will admit i don't understand any of this Are some lucky people actually getting rich from rich dickheads buying bad art or is it rich people just moving money between themselves?

Regarde Aduck posted:i will admit i don't understand any of this It's most likely the latter, but I think the big one that drew people to buy nft was the pepe Homer Simpson card that sold for an abominable amount of money. It was featured in the pepe documentary Feels Good Man as one of those weird internet subculture and accidentally made it mainstream (the guy owning it made a point that he owns the "rarest pepe") and got sold in an auction a few months later. Furie himself, the original pepe creator, opened a Twitter account and tried to go on the nft train but I don't think it went anywhere If not mistaken nyancat also sold a ton as an NFT and grumpy cat tried too The other big sale was another artist beeple who does these internet culture renders, but I haven't heard of any other individual artist doing well off it
