Love that E1 lore is deep enough that I can think of 20+ possible suspects. However, I imagine the shooter would be adept at handling a gun, perhaps due to being a famous cowboy actor or something… edit: I believe that Hashman was apprehended by the CIA, but simply walked out after his interrogation.

It says who shot Dr. Yinz, not who killed him. It's possible that the survived the shooting because the bullet was very small, as if it was fired from a tiny gun designed to be carried by an extremely small man...
