I just completed my own cleansing of the floral horde yesterday, after achieving five stars for exactly long enough to get the gold watering can. It took probably four hours overall - I put on some podcasts, made four shovels, and bit the bullet. Everything looks really empty now, but the revised layout project can begin in earnest. I've essentially had the villager homes jammed into a tidy lil subdevelopment for my convenience up until now ("Peachtree Circle  ") , but I'm ready to spread them out a little more organically and give them individualized yards to a certain degree.

I finally got a recipe for a blue rose wreath, so I can make some okay money selling 4 wreaths every few days since I have over 40 blue roses on my island. Maybe more now since it rained yesterday! I just need a gold wreath one too.

Just stick some branches behind houses or cliffsides, and they'll stop spawning. a brief googling tells me you have to hide 10, this works for small stones, but I'm not sure how many you have to hide. On the back of my cliffside I hid a row of small stones, branches, and buried fossils.

I'm glad my wife and our friend will probably have little interest in Gyroids and will help me stock up on them. I might even create another account to have a house dedicated to Gyroids.

I am mixed about a few things Stopped playing 6 months ago, booted it up after the direct and did some light TT so I could literally tear down and rip apart my island and rebuild it. If I find out I could of saved myself hours of work because they're letting you put paths down in the main game like you can in the DLC I'm going to feel slightly irate  Also more I think about the update more worried I am. The feature list seems pretty expansive but like, thinking about most of the stuff they showed off it kinda feels like 'finally, it might have new leafs level of content' since a lot of it is just returning stuff from that game. My biggest worry of all though is that villagers going about their days or crafting things won't have any new lines. The villagers as they all are suck rear end and while I love some of the new designs if I talk to Shino and all he says is "today is already fun  " I'm going to scream. Or if all the cranky villagers are randomly ancient and suffering bone problems despite only like 2 of them looking old. Shino is probably going to be cranky and having this cool japanese deer demon guy talk about back pains is going to suck.

Make sure to talk to them more than once because that first line seems to be drawn from a very small pool. I have 16 mill in the bank and it's almost all from selling identified fossils. I completed my museum ages and ages back and sell the fossils every day. That and shells and the bury-your-cash thing keep the money very high.

That, and stocking up wasps and rare bugs and fish in my storage until Flick/C.J. arrived and doing a massive sell-off to them. I’d like to remind people of an excellent app called ACNH.Guide (found on your mobile store). Not sponsored, I’m just in love with it. I’ve tracked all my collectibles, it has an in-built turnip calculator, and has cloud saving (can’t remember if you need to pay for that but I did throw the creator a fiver). It’s completely up to date too, so includes all seasonal items and such. Can’t say enough good things about it!

I didn't see most of the dialogue because they sound passive aggressive after the very first time you talk to them each day, I figured they just didn't want to talk to me. I have to wonder if that was done on purpose, because every villager type sounds like that.
