I realized an irony about Gregg today. While his reviews are extremely surface level and his self-described expertise is overblown, he would have made for a good marketer or hype man. He's so excited at the idea of Dune as a franchise more than the movie itself or anything contained within. Dune might be filling the Hobbit Hole left in his heart now that they aren't making any more Middle Earth movies. That might be why James Bond is so appealing, there will always be another James Bond movie.

the fact that they made sure to have her say she's 18 and therefore legal, i think they absolutely will go in that direction. it would be a very Tim thing to do, to leave his new wife for someone (much) younger. they were already hinting he had something with pastor lewis, but i guess something went wrong with the actress? so maybe they redirected the plot onto wendy

oh Tim's definitely gonna be creepy and possessive towards Wendy but I think it's more because he thinks she's gonna be a bona fide star? idk when Tim hits on someone he's not very subtle about it. also they kind of already did that plot with Ayaka right? the part that confuses me is that apparently "Rock House" is a real place where they live? and not just a show within the show? idk whatever they're doing I'm glad Manuel is getting so much screentime, idk why but his character always cracks me up. maybe because it's not really a character

I don't think it was a setup for the prenup. The character dynamics for the show is two people who are codependent because they are repulsive to everyone else. He's physical with Toni around Gregg (and before that, invited his band to constantly chill on the show) to prove to Gregg that he can be replaced and has been replaced, allowing him to 'win' the friendship. He definitely needs the money, but he craves love. He'll cheat on her and definitely has cheated on her (to get more love from other people), but his move is always to buy love with cash/fame/status/prestige, not the other way around. Toni, OTOH, as fundamentally a pretty normal person, is very quickly tiring of his poo poo and sinking into booze, she has every reason to have what I guarantee will be some kind of threeway or even fourway where Tim was actually there but wasn't totally in to it. Like, Tim has bragged about doing that kind of stuff with the boys before and I have to assume that Axiom has developed some kind of serious feelings for Tim considering he gave him his loving hand in the The Trial.
