Not car related, but I watch a channel called Hooked on Wood, https://www.youtube.com/c/HookedonWood/featured , where a guy from the Netherlands does woodworking videos. He has a series called "China Tools" where he reviews tools he buys from AliExpress. I'm just watching one that I missed from a month ago, and he's excited because the site has subtitles now. He said now you'll be able to see that I'm saying "China Tools" instead of "genitals" and I lolled. Good channel for general knowledge watching.

Can confirm Matt is worth watching, he's pretty smart but also gets distracted by dumb stuff and likes to joke about it. Relatable guy. He also recently took the Honda to the Hoonigan burn yard and lit the tyres up.

Guy is an Audi service tech that gives overviews of his job (individual cars that need specific repairs, including running jokes about "wet rear end water pump" and "self lubricating chassis system, " and lots of rust). He didn't go into detail, but I'm sure Audi corporate doesn't want continuous documentation of their cars being lovely. They can't force him to take the content down, but they can remove his job.

I follow the FD Rx-7 market pretty closely (a surprise to no one). I've seen more collector grade, driver grade, and project grade in just the last three months than I have in two years. Everyone is offloading and hoping to ride the market. This is causing a dip, as there are so many available that cars I would value around $42-44k are only seeing ~$35/36k offers. The bottom of the market, for this example shells and part outs has also dipped - shells that were $15-20k are now $7-15k. Same for "fixer uppers". Now many of these youtubers are watching their ad revenue drop, companies are offering less per sponsorship, and viewers are spending less time on YouTube per the 2021 analytics. I've sold ~5 cars in the last two years. If I had held and sold just 3 months ago, I would have doubled or tripled my return. IMO, they are just getting out while the markets still hot and planning for what's next.

Very minor changes to the head and tail lights made a big difference somehow. I might not be the most reliable judge however because I think the late Bangle designs aged WAY better than everyones darlings, the E46/E39. Especially from the rear 3/4 view, the E60 5'er could be a brand new car.

I didn't watch all of the "selling my collection" videos, but the ones I did were definitely more along the "everything's for sale.....for the right price" or "I don't want to sell this but if someone offered me $XXX", so I dunno just how much I'd read into any of this.
