Sorry for the seriouspost, but this vid went in a way way more interesting direction than I was expecting.

- Swedish band named Caramell releases Caramelldansen in early 2000s
- Years later it goes viral and meme remixes are made. By then, Caramell has disbanded.
- Suddenly a "band" called Caramella Girls consisting of some anime girls appears out of nowhere and publishes an "official" version of the meme remix.
- Caramella Girls keeps publishing new pop songs but nobody really notices because they aren't good.
- In 2019, all of the original Caramell versions of the song on Spotify and everywhere are suddenly rebranded as if they were made by Caramella Girls. To anyone not paying attention, it looks like an Orwellian "it had always been made by Caramella Girls" thing.
- In March 2020 people are reminded of the song by some new viral videos and get redirected to the Caramella Girls, giving whoever is behind that band a lot of money.
- It seems like the sole owner of the record label Caramell was associated with is also strongly involved by Caramella Girls. So it seems like he smelled money when it went viral and he's been busy rewriting history ever since because every time it pops up again it gets him money.
