One of the best things to come out of 3D World, outside of a great video game, is that Nintendo began making 2D cartoony Mario Art again. The old promotional art from the SMB3/SMW/SMK era were some of my favorite things in the world.

It's crazy how good it is and also how well the online works. Being able to seamlessly take your friend group from a 20-turn board game to Mt. Minigame and do some team battles is wild. Never seen anything like it in a Nintendo game.
