That said, four people to a bathroom is still poo poo. They really should go full dystopia. Stack the beds in four high soundproof pods.

Good lord what an oppressive and horrifically dangerous building. I know fire codes have been brought up before but is that even legal in California? Here it's absolutely illegal to have a bedroom without a window (although that doesn't stop landlords from calling something a bedroom).
