I'm reading Permanent Midnight by J. Stahl. It's a heroin memoir by a comedy writer of ALF fame, I'm 1/3 - 1/2 done and it's both dark as hell and incredibly funny, at least if you're more than peripherally aware of the realities of the heroin lifestyle. It was, apparently, made into a Ben Stiller movie in the 90s. That does not look promising, but, if you've seen it, feel free to try to change my mind, it won't take much to make me attempt the movie once I finish the book, what's another 90 mins for a 6/10 IMDB rating  e: I credited the author as J. Stahl because I've been smoking weed while I read this and actually can't remember if it's Jeremy or Jeffrey

That said his character is probably gonna be different since they toned back the sex for the Harkonnens E: hes also not like a super big character in terms of appearance, with stuff that's in the second movie he just briefly fails to assassinate the Baron for no good reason and then fights Paul at the end iirc StashAugustine has issued a correction as of 20:26 on Nov 5, 2021 |

"I'm different" and then I really relate to them because I grew up different too. So I guess: Super heroes a generic boring people All the Rich and famous people relate to the villains.
