Oh I think I have seen pictures of those in the big kits. Did wonder why they gave you a novelty crushed penny. Mine is smaller and doesn't have that.

The only proper and respectable sewing kit is an old Danish butter cookie tin. I riveted sheet metal dividers into mine and then put small trays and magnetic needle holders etc. but now it doesn’t fit everything so I need a second one to fill with the remaining spools and buttons.

My sewing machine has an automatic threader on it. You pull the thread up behind a hook and then push down on on a lever and it passes the thread through the eye. I have no loving idea how it works because as far as I can tell I can't see anything go through the eye like a hook to pull the thread through no matter how slowly I mash the lever. The hook you hook the thread to is just to hold the thread taut. It also only works 1/2 the time. Unperson_47 has a new favorite as of 04:56 on Nov 11, 2021 |
