Still going through my first full watch of the Enterprise and hit the episode Horizon. The dude playing Mayweather ...isn't that great as an episode lead. I have seen more convincing performances on porn flicks than what that was.

The rest of the cast are fine but in every single scene they're running rings around him without even trying. He had the emotional range of driftwood. I will say he fairs just a little better in a season four episode where he's kinda-sorta the lead again. The one where he and Malcolm are possessed by aliens observing the crew while they deal with that silicone virus.

It wouldn’t have worked well for the episode or the message but I’m pretty sure realistically Sisko would’ve said “actually you guys did and currently do in fact engage in the ownership and trade of slaves”
