Everyone has a second house (since this is MN it's always a cabin up north). My neighbor also had jet skis, and he recently told me that he spent 10k to add rocks in the front of his cabin

I finally caught up with some of the content recommended by this thread. I watched "Planet of the Humans" and it was good. It was very much like Bright Green Lies in content, but delivered in a much more compelling manner. I would still have liked more data, fewer anecdotes, fewer 'gotcha' questions, but it was good enough. I also watched this about Abrupt climate change, it was fascinating and rather compelling. Also scary. I love the constant dunking on miami though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRs4kIthJ9k And finally i watched this. Also very good! It gets a bit weirdly theoretical at points but otherwise is very compelling, and gives me the strongest sense that this was always inevitable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDWhjSUu8UY

Unless posted:today’s mail call was worth lol, had this book been mentioned here before? I had these thoughts a few days ago while watching a random bad zombie video. I dont think many books were written about doomsday stuff pre-industrialization(outside of religious contexts anyway) while nearly every major franchise these days is either a complete dream world(Marvel/DC) with doomsday flavoring, or just full out doomsday scenarios with various trends(zombies, climate, asteroids, nukes, big rear end monsters appearing from other realms/aliens). Anyway, further proof ive never had nor will ever have an original thought.
