Anyone ever sit down to play switch, play like 15 different games for like 5 mins apiece, and put your switch away like "hell yes that was loving amazing"? I was bouncing back and forth between Dread, Hollow Knight, and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble for like 2 hours last night at work and it was INSANE. I love the OLED screen for Hollow Knight specifically all the blacks POP now!

Persona is a spinoff of SMT, so it's got a similar battle system, a lot of overlap in demon design (called personas/shadows there), the same spell names, etc. There's no link plotwise. In addition, most mainline SMT games are standalone. There's sometimes some threads connecting them, but nothing you really need to worry about. Of course, I haven't played it yet, so it's possible V is the one that breaks the cycle and makes everything else important, but I doubt it.

SMT has a ton of spinoff series. Persona is one of them, a spinoff series that got so popular that they dropped the SMT name from the series.
