I took a trip this weekend and found some ships docked in Subic Bay  Pretty sure this is the JS Kaga helicopter carrier, with the JMSDF  This has got to be the BRP Gregorio del Pilar with the US Navy, formerly a Hamilton-class US Coast Guard cutter   And this is the USS Milius, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. This one was actually at sea. EDIT: I forgot one  This is the JS Murasame, lead ship in her class of JMSDF destroyers gradenko_2000 has issued a correction as of 14:15 on Nov 13, 2021 |

You can't really effectively compare standards of living in DPRK to China or the US, since they're near completely shut out of global markets. You have to compare their standards of living to other poor countries.
