I honestly felt like P5R was more like, 20% dungeon, even with trying to find all the optional stuff. But I quit out of ~~boredom and not being into co-dependent harems~~ lack of heart half way through. So I could be wrong.

One note is that it's much less about dungeon crawling, though. A lot of the game takes place in big, open areas (with a ton to explore, lots of hidden things, and lots of verticality) rather than dungeon crawls.

I feel very confident saying that if you like mainline SMT at all, you'll like SMTV.

the areas so far have been somewhat "linear", not in like, a railroading way but in a sense taht it's not like Far Cry/Ubisoft poo poo where you have a big area with lots of exploration but also a specific order where it's laid out from start to finish

there's probably RPGs with very similar designs but it works well

Do the shin megami games go on sale often? I'd like to participate but I haven't beaten Dread yet (last boss) and have only beaten one of the castlvania advance games and only a little into actraiser. Will it hit $30 ever or is it like most first party nintendo that only fluctuates like $5 ever?
