I looked up the supposed address and… it's going to be bad. I know that area well (think I know precisely where they’re planning on putting it, at least last I heard a year or two ago). It’s going to be a poo poo show that will back up to 217.

Bridgeport is a nightmare of traffic often enough, dropping an In-n-Out there is going to make it even worse. the thing about buses though is they're on the same roads that all the car traffic is backed up on  I remembered this after trying to take a bus directly home instead of switching trains a couple weeks back. that was bad.

I already really don’t much care about my sister and BIL, but lately me making statements such as “I’m good where I’m at with my job and not looking to move jobs at the moment” and “I’m not emotionally up for doing Thanksgiving/Holiday celebrations this year since my fiancé just died” to them means “let’s text him constantly about job opportunities we found through a guy that knows a guy and throw a bunch of options for family members we know hosting Thanksgiving we could go to together.” A)I loathe spending time with your racist, transphobic, sexist asses and B) IDK man I just pretty plainly said two things I don’t want anything to do with stop loving bothering me about it

Nice nice, my friend’s elderly mother’s house is along a highway that the city wants to expand (for some reason, the town it leads to is tiny as gently caress) and they’ve been pressuring her to sell and she’s been denying them. He just rolled up to her house today to see contractors milling around her property and marking the driveway for a sidewalk and she’s freaking out.
