It was tied for fifteenth biggest ever and is the biggest between two big 12 teams yeah. The biggest one involving two power conference teams was Stanford over USC as 38.5 point dogs in, of course, 2007.

Komet posted:Penn State never pulled the plug on Paterno, for on field football performance no reason to i don’t think, he was beloved and still churning out 9 and 10 win seasons like clockwork and was 8-1 when they fired him if he was treading water between 4 and 8 wins every year he might’ve been gently kicked upstairs to a ceremonial role, but the big difference between patterson and joepa (well, ONE big difference) is that patterson went kicking and screaming into the night and i doubt paterno would ever have made a stink like that (at least, not in a way that would leak out to the public. as we all know joe paterno could keep his mouth shut when he thought the situation called for it)
