the d4dj rap battle episode is good because it has a joke about flipflappers (ZAQ, the singer who did the flipflappers OP, cameos at the start having a rap battle with a real life friend of hers who's also a singer, and the friend dunks about her only doing OPs for anime nobody's ever heard of)

In general the D4DJ anime is legit good. Solid banter, fun arc, surprisingly not even the strict honor student character is boring, makes use of the CG for comedy rather than just trying to be a 2d anime but worse looking, decent music. My only real complaint is that the two rival bands get enough content for maybe one rival band between them and the occasional uses of 2D animation are extremely jarring. Also it's directed by Seiji Mizushima, which is extremely funny.

Both Bandori season 2 and 3 and D4DJ are really good looking and fun 3D shows but I do wish we spent more time with the other units. But hopefully a season 2 happens And since it started in 2020 I thought of as a 2020 episode but it finished in Jan 2021 so that's enough for me to get it on my top 10 list so score!
