It's supposed to be "velvet" but reviews say it feels like cheap suede. Guess I'll find out when it shows up. The photos in the reviews make it look a lot more copper than the stock photos.

What made you choose the S over the X? Simply cost?

Cost, Availability, Not needing to have the X in my place as I've got a honkin rear end PC in my other room. Just something to sit in front of the TV and play some things with as opposed to the little child-sized bedroom in my apartment where my PC is. Plus I can UWP retroarch onto it and use it as a powerful retro box.

Also waiting for Microsoft to do something like a Steam Box for it where it'll play games from my PC library, since they're doing the reverse with game streaming from console to PC.

That's a pretty sweet looking controller, It really deserves a custom Xbox to go with it.

Yeah, you don't need an adapter for the new controllers, usb or Bluetooth. I like the xbox controller the most, and don't usually have issues with using it on pc

For whatever reason my Xbox controller since I got it has the worst Bluetooth connection from my computer and is borderline unusable without being wired. Otherwise it’s a very nice controller.

I had the Bluetooth problem too until I started using a USB extension cable to plug my cheap Asus Bluetooth adapter into. I think getting the adapter further from the Motherboard was more important than getting it close to the controller but I'm sure both helped. Now I have a motherboard with built in wifi and Bluetooth and the sharkfin antenna is doing both and I've never had a problem with my controller (either Bone or Series S|X) or input speeds.

If you aren't aware, the dude found and trapped a KGB-recruited west-german hacker of multiple US government systems in the mid-1980s, and was tutored/mentored in electronic music by Robert Moog himself.

A PO-20 or 33 is a great way to get into sequencing fun beeps without diving headfirst into synths. They’re relatively cheap and look like cool naked calculators.

I still play my PO-20 with a few beers from time to time. It’s so fun.

I just received an email from Cliff with about a dozen photos documenting the shipping process. I think every picture he took of himself holding the bottle and package is blurry!

I have never experienced such a personalized shopping experience. I even know that he'll be taking it to the post office via bicycle.
