 Had some greeters on Halloween. My shelter room is up to 6 black cats (and 2 tuxedo cats) now. Unfortunately the newest hates every other cat in the room. Gonna have to work with her a lot.

This is my new rear end in a top hat Walter. He's nine years old, was found in the parking lot of my wife's office, and can open doors. This isn't ideal when he needs to be segregated from our other cats for another 10 days. He loves to cuddle, but will also hiss and growl while cuddling but still not move.

All "black" cats are tabbies with a mutation that makes their coats very dark brown on very dark brown (and cow cats are black cats with another mutation that gives them white patches), so yeah, they go rusty in the sun. It's like you're getting a peek at their secret tabby pattern!
