She also has infinitely better cat manners and backs down and acts submissive when the bigger cats put her in her place instead of pushing harder.

When I was young, one of my dad's friends had a small army of tiny bug-eyed dogs (can't remember what breed, some generic wire-haired variety), so when you went round they'd let you in, take your coat, then open a door and a giant carpet scattered with googly eyes would pour into the hallway and start licking your shins.

Full VOLUNTARY cuddles have been achieved, now.  Iska was in the bed and Rexie came over, sniffed her (grumbled a little) so definitely knew she was there....and then climbed in the bed and is still sitting there now. The tiny one is overjoyed and is now asleep.
