Don't they string cables across sports arenas so they can fly cameras across them?

It's canonical, OSHA is more powerful than mutants in the Marvel Universe.

Honestly I could see that IRL if mutants were a thing. More of a "Yes, yes, we know you don't need it, but the paperwork is a nightmare, so please humor us. It's just a hard hat." thing.

Do you know how many mutant corpses we've had to fish out of the reactor because they "didn't need a helmet" and then clonked their head on a pipe? More than zero. Wear your drat hat.

In my experience the NRC is even more interested in OSHA than OSHA because suddenly bumping your head without a hard hat in a warm zone hits the news cycle as "a recordable nuclear injury."

Does anyone have any hardwired irrational OSHA habits? For me I won't walk out a garage door, I'll walk 50 feet to a pedestrian door. It came from running a metro inbound where package cars would come in and out through these types of doors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXwpQyoVxHM

From some trainhopping forums:quote:We knew this train would be hit or miss with rideable 48s, but J swore on a method of riding suicide (i.e. floorless) cars that wasn't actually suicidal. In a total feat of human engineering and ingenuity, we managed to carry two pallets (five if you count the rejects we left on the side of the tracks), along with this flexible wood sheeting we dumpstered, and plenty of cardboard onto the train. I thought it still looked sketchy with the wheels completely exposed, but the floor seemed safe enough, so I amended my resolution to never ride suicide and hopped aboard. Moments later we aired up and slowly crept out of Sodo and through Chinatown. Later on in the trip we would end up resting our feet on the moving wheels just for kicks. so they put some pallets over this and made a floor they were walking/sleeping on:

But you're generally stuck fully sending it in that line work at least occasionally and it will end in a butt pucker some amount of the time you're stuck just going for it. Especially if you're a scrapper in a third world you're gonna get all the poo poo rear end cylinders they didn't easily bleed down.

I did a training video shoot with a gigantic crane in October and I kept envisioning the boom just collapsing for no reason and crushing me whenever I walked under it. Filming on a Genie lift without a harness was somehow less terrifying. I also took a hop off the deck to get down before filming a leaping stunt and I think I felt my entire lower torso just barely hold itself together. Can't really do a straight 6 foot drop onto flat feet now.
