This rules. Congratulations to the Lions. I hope they can build from this & become the 2nd team in the North.

I've been tuning out of the Lions for awhile through a combination of not having standard TV channels and the team being garbage, but it was fun to hear Dan Miller again on the radio call. Maybe I'll have to start trying to catch games on radio for that real old-timey experience. Radio calls of games are actually surprisingly entertaining most of the time.

Nice that the Lions and Vikings were doing some Oxford tribute stuff too.

Radio commentary is kind of magical, it can make the dullest game sound exciting. I listen to soccer on the radio every weekend & it's great. One time I even heard the Ryder Cup on the radio and it somehow made me excited for golf

When I saw who was out I knew the Vikings were going to lose. There's five weeks left including a game this Thurday. Mike Zimmer will be released at the end of the season along will all of the staff. Rick Spielman should go too.

Is Rick Spielman a bad GM?

My perception was that he was a great drafter, but now I'm looking at some recent drafts and, uhh... Justin Jefferson in the first last year was obviously great. Osborn in the fifth last year is good. Dalvin Cook in the second four years ago is nice. Um.

I think your incredible 2015 draft blinded me to how underwhelming the last six Minnesota drafts have been.

The recent drafts are part of the problem. There just wasn't a lot of defensive depth. When you have the two key linebackers, Barr and Hendricks, two starting corners, Patrick Peterson and Alexander Macenzie, the two starting defensive ends, Griffen and Hunter out there's not much left. Add to that losing Theilan on the first play, Cook being out and the starting tackle Darrisaw being out as well it was resembling last year except with worse offense.

It makes sense. A last minute playoff push could let him keep his job and Nagy has to know that's his only shot.

He's not a good coach but I don't disagree with Nagy here. Tevin is a rookie coming off an injury, plugging him in and using him could be a disaster. Hell, Chicago might not be able to move the football, unlike right now!

I know in my heart Jenkins will be poo poo too because he is a poo poo apple from the poo poo tree that is Pace, but who knows....

Jason Peters is literally one of the best offensive lineman of all time. He should extremely be taking anything he can from that dude.

Jason Peters is just old but it doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing technique-wise It's just that his body can't keep up with speed anymore.
