Didn't Brooks also get voted as most popular gaijin for some publication last year? There's still a ton left for him to do in Japan and AEW seems like it would be a pretty big step down for him right now.

I'm a massive MASSIVE Brookes fan, and I much prefer him in DDT doing wild and innovative stuff than I would in midcard AEW matches. The Brookes / Takeshita story has loads left to tell, and he's doing so much on the production and non-ring side of DDT. Basically if CyberFight are serious about international expansions (and I really feel they are) they need someone like Brookes as a gaijin face of the company, especially if Mr Haku is going on to other things.
