why not play on the cloud vs download and install? Isn't that the smartest of deliveries? I tried the multiplayer on the cloud and even though i suck at it the performance was great.

Cloud streaming isn't viable unless you're on a ultra fast internet connection that most people don't have access to. Fiber optic speeds or close.

I've played about 3 hours of campaign now. I did try quality mode, but after playing Halo these last weeks in 120fps, it's hard to play in 60fps so I'll just stay where I was. And honestly, I don't really see a big difference in the textures, at least not enough to feel like I'm missing things. Halo is super fun, I'm having a blast. It's so cool just running, driving and grappling around in this big world.

The One X version in performance mode runs really well and looks great. I'm a little surprised after Forza H5 which was fine but just 30 fps (not that these are similar games in any way). I will enjoy this.

Halo's combat works really well as a part of open world shenanigans. It's a lot of fun and I'm someone who doesn't love most open world games. There are also still discrete Halo levels.

This game isn’t for me! The storytelling is so bad. What is going on? Why is Master Chief doing anything? The grappling hook is fun and multiplayer is fun. I can’t (well I can) believe 343 spent 6 years on this single player, it’s poo poo.

I liked Halo 1, not at first but I eventually came around to it during college and had fun with friends. I bought a used xbox for 40 bux in advance of Halo 2 and to this day Halo 2 remains the only game I have ever purchased new for an MS console.
