Names tend to be similar for relations in Souls. Gwyn's son is Gwyndolin and his daughter is Gwynevere. Siegmeyer of Catarina's daughter is Sieglinde. It's why I assumed Godwyn the Golden from the story video is the brother of Godrick the Golden the boss we've already seen.

Godwyn's death signalling the start of a massive war is really similar to Baldr's death before Ragnarok.
