Dark Souls 1 is imo a perfect game up until you get the Lordvessel, but after that it kinda falls apart. Warp feels like a great reward but the rest of the game feels like an afterthought somehow. I'm a DS2 defender so my brain is probably broken though

Honestly replaying iy a couple of years ago the dropoff in quality wasn't as bad as I remember with the marked exception of Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith. And the crystal caves i guess but that's like two rooms

First half is great other than Capra pretty much. I still think bonfire warp would have made it better, mainly for every run after the first one. Also the lord vessel should have let you warp to all bonfires not just a random selection imo.Lunchmeat Larry posted:This is not an unpopular opinion.
